LS1 Conversion Hubs and Bracket Combination – Choose this option to convert your own spindles to accept the newer more powerful 98-02 F body brakes. This is for the “do it yourselfer” These are the core components to the LS1 Conversion. With this combo of parts anyone with access to a few ordinary tools can convert to the LS1 brakes easily with confidence. Instructions with diagrams are supplied to guide you through the installation of the brackets to your spindles and within an afternoon you can have the satisfaction of creating your own Bigbrake kit. This option consists of the following:
Laser cut adapter brackets
Wheel hubs with longer studs
All necessary mounting hardware for bracket and calipers

*We suggest you have the following to utilize this option: mechanical ability, bench with a mounted vise, reciprocating saw, drill, drill bits, tap and handle.

LS1 Conversion Hubs - These are cut from new castings utilizing the stock bearing sizes as the standard 3rd Generation F Body and are equipped with. The longer than stock studs are installed which are required when using these for a LS1 conversion. Stock closed end lug nuts will still work with these longer studs and are the same thread size (12mmx1.5) as standard 82-92 F bodies.
LS1 Conversion Brackets – These are Laser cut brackets that allow the installation of the 98-02 F body brakes onto your 3rd generation 82-92 F Body. These brackets have been used by many to create their own LS1 conversion. They are delivered with installation instructions and hardened fasteners for the brackets and the calipers.

Modify Spindles - Choose this option to have your spindles modified for the LS1 conversion. You will need to send us your spindles; they are treated to a cleaning and are de-scaled using reverse electrolysis if needed. Think about purchasing brackets to have installed to them at the same time at no additional charge.
