This rear conversion
kit allows you to install the sought after 1LE rear brakes that the
Camaros and Firebirds from 89-97 had from the factory onto your drum
or early disc brake axle, although most of these parts are
discontinued we have been able to collect some cores and source some
parts to offer these kits from time to time, when we have enough
parts to offer a kit it will be listed here in the specials section
of our website. The kits can be ordered for the 9 bolt or 10 bolt
axle, several other axles may now be converted to this system if
needed, please email us with your requests. The kits when available
will be offered in a basic form with add ons available to the
purchaser. Below is a break down of the kit and it`s add ons. Some
of these add ons will require added time to ship because not all of
the choices are stocked items. Powder coating is available, email
for time estimates and costs. Drum brake axles require non
reversible modifications and may need the axle shaft flanges turned
down in diameter slightly to fit the new rotors. Parts of the kit
such as adapter brackets will be available separately soon!
